Guide
Classic Quick Guide
- In Classic mode, battle through increasingly difficult waves of enemies. If your King or Queen dies, it's Game Over.
- Players take turns making moves, with one minute per turn to make decisions. A timer tick occurs every 5 seconds (making moves resets the timer) with your turn ending automatically after 60 seconds (12 ticks).
- Each character can perform a single action; unless a special ability or item permits them otherwise.
- To survive a wave, defeat all enemies while strategically positioning your units along the way.
- To advance to the next wave, press Continue after clearing enemies. Always assess if your remaining forces can handle the next challenge—retreat is sometimes wiser than defeat.
- After every wave pay attention to the golden tiles that appear and disappear. They help indicate the upcoming safe zones
- To appear on the Leaderboard, you must voluntarily END your run while you're still alive. This records your final wave as your score.
Characters
King
A mighty champion and proud leader with exceptional resilience. The King can withstand powerful attacks, making him a formidable presence on the battlefield.
Queen
Swift as lightning, the Queen possesses the highest dodge chance of any character. However, her agility comes at a cost—if an attack connects, she may fall quickly. A high-risk, high-reward champion with exceptional versatility on the battlefield.
Knight
The Knight's spear is an extension of his soul. With superior reach, he can strike enemies from a distance, making him exceptionally versatile in close-quarters combat situations.
Rook
A support specialist with powerful fists. While not the strongest attacker, the Rook excels as a battlefield medic. He can heal adjacent units, provide protective shields, and draw enemy attention when needed. An invaluable asset you'll want to protect at all costs.
Bishop
With divine-like range, the Bishop can eliminate enemies from remarkable distances. However, she cannot fire through allied units and must prioritize enemies blocking other foes. Position her strategically to maximize diagonal, horizontal, and vertical firing lanes. Be cautious—while powerful, she's quite vulnerable if reached by enemies.
Pawn
The backbone of your forces and the heart of your strategy. These loyal frontline fighters may seem humble, but their sacrifice and service make them indispensable to victory. A well-positioned pawn formation can turn the tide of battle.
Enemies
Hresh
Basic enemy units that engage in close-quarters combat. While individually weak, their strength lies in numbers, which grow increasingly threatening as waves progress. Never underestimate their collective power.
Hresh Red
Ranged Hresh variants that can attack from a distance. Always inspect their attack range by selecting them to understand their threat radius and plan your defensive positioning accordingly.
Hresh Blue
Enhanced variants of the standard Hresh that deal double damage and come equipped with protective shields. Their increased durability demands attention—deploy your strongest units to eliminate them efficiently.
Hresh Blue Hybrid
A forged blend of Red’s reach and Blue’s bulwark. It carries a light shield and strikes from farther away, but hits a bit softer than a true Blue. When it posts up behind the front line, lanes get dangerous.
Hresh Gold
The elite among Hresh forces, combining the ranged attacks of Red Hresh with the shielded durability of Blue Hresh. These formidable opponents should be your highest priority targets—focus your most powerful units on eliminating them quickly.
Hresh Black
Deadly assassins that appear every other wave starting from wave 3. With exceptional movement range and devastating attack power, these shadowy killers target your back line. Their combination of shield protection and high damage makes them a priority threat that must be dealt with immediately.
Hresh Black Hybrid
The apex of Hresh engineering: Black’s killing power, a protective shield, and the long reach of Gold. When these appear, no lane is safe—expect sudden dives from afar and brutal follow‑ups.
Hresh Seer
A blind oracle that appears every five waves. The Hresh Seer scars the battlefield with prophetic marks warning sigils that foretell ruin. Some tiles are primed by his visions, soon igniting into searing flame. Any unit foolish enough to remain where fate has been declared will be burned when the prophecy is fulfilled. He does not watch the battlefield, he knows how it will end.
Hresh King
The crowned bulwark of the swarm that appears every 5 waves. The Hresh King shrugs off blows behind an immense shield. Break his guard or be ground down at his feet.
